Refund & Cancellation Policy for TRIPPO TRAVELS

Please read carefully before using any of our services

1. Our Commitment

At TRIPPO TRAVELS, we strive to provide transparent and fair policies. This document outlines our policy regarding cancellations and refunds for the services booked through us. Our goal is to process refunds in a timely manner, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

2. Our Role as an Intermediary

It is important to understand that TRIPPO TRAVELS acts as an intermediary or a booking agent. We facilitate bookings between you (the traveler) and third-party service providers such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and transport companies. Therefore, our ability to provide a refund is directly determined by the policies of these end suppliers.

3. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@trippotravels.com . We do not accept cancellation requests over the phone or via social media.

The date of receipt of the written cancellation request will be considered the date of cancellation for the purpose of calculating any applicable fees or penalties.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they receive a written acknowledgement of their cancellation request from us.

4. Our Service Fees

The service fees charged by TRIPPO TRAVELS for our planning, booking, and support services are non-refundable. These fees cover the work performed by our agents to research, plan, and execute your booking, and are independent of the policies of the third-party suppliers.

Supplier Cancellation & Refund Policies

The majority of any potential refund is governed by the terms and conditions of the third-party supplier (airline, hotel, etc.). When you make a booking, you agree to their terms. We will assist you in understanding these terms, but the supplier's decision is final.

    A. Air Tickets:

  • Refunds for air tickets are subject to the fare rules of the specific airline and ticket purchased.
  • Non-Refundable Tickets: Most economy class and promotional fare tickets are strictly non-refundable. In some cases, the airline may allow the value of the ticket to be held in credit for future travel, less any applicable airline penalties and a re-booking fee from our agency.
  • Refundable Tickets: If you have purchased a refundable ticket, the refund will be processed by the airline, less any applicable airline cancellation fees.
  • All airline refunds will only be processed after the airline has credited the funds back to our account.

    B. Hotels, Transfers, and Sightseeing:

  • Hotel refund policies vary greatly by property and rate type (e.g., "Free Cancellation" vs. "Non-Refundable"). The specific policy for your booking will be communicated at the time of reservation.
  • No-shows are considered a cancellation and are 100% non-refundable.

    C. Holiday Packages & Tours:

    Our holiday packages are subject to a tiered cancellation fee structure based on the date of cancellation prior to the scheduled departure:

  • If cancelled 60 days or more before departure: [e.g., The non-refundable booking deposit]
  • If cancelled between 59 and 31 days before departure: [e.g., 50% of the total package cost]
  • If cancelled 30 days or less before departure: [e.g., 100% of the total package cost (non-refundable)]

Note: The above percentages are examples. Please adjust them based on your business model and supplier agreements. Some exclusive tours or peak season bookings (e.g., Christmas, New Year) may be 100% non-refundable from the time of booking.

    D. Visa Services & Travel Insurance:

  • Fees paid for visa application processing are 100% non-refundable, regardless of whether the visa is granted or denied.
  • Premiums paid for travel insurance policies are 100% non-refundable once the policy has been issued.
6. Refund Processing

Timeline: We will process your refund only after we have received the corresponding funds from the relevant third-party supplier. This process can take from 15 to 45 business days, and in some cases (like complex airline refunds), longer. We will keep you informed of the status.

Mode of Refund: All refunds will be processed back to the original mode of payment (e.g., credit card, bank account) used at the time of booking.

7. Force Majeure

TRIPPO TRAVELS shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations that is caused by a "Force Majeure" event. This includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, political unrest, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, or government advisories.

In the event of a cancellation due to a Force Majeure event, refunds will be subject to the policies of the suppliers. We will act on your behalf to secure the best possible outcome, which may be in the form of a future travel credit or voucher rather than a cash refund. Our service fees remain non-refundable.

8. Acceptance of Policy

By making a booking with TRIPPO TRAVELS, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
